Breakfast at the garden centre is always a lovely way to start the day. The food here is reasonably good but the roasted field mushrooms served on sourdough toast with fresh goat’s cheese and a garden herb and roast hazelnut pesto truly stood out today and a dish I wish we’d discovered much sooner, though I think the menu changed a little recently. Everything else seemed like good, standard fare except perhaps the bircher muesli which looked a little underwhelming, despite being cheapest…
