Superbowl

Superbowl in Sydney’s Chinatown is an institution for late night dining with their speciality being congee and pretty bad service. They recently opened a branch in Cabramatta to take on SuperDish that appears to have stolen their thunder by delivering a very similar experience and food for about the last 3 years on Hughes Street.

How does it compare? I can’t remember since the time between eating at SuperDish and SuperBowl is quite large but at least SuperDish staff speak a bit of Vietnamese – this ain’t Chinatown so different rules apply. The experience certainly seems inferior to that found in Chinatown, but that is to be expected. Food was good, service probably worse than usual so I might have to come back after the hype has died down.
