Bún chả

I am told that this is an entirely North Vietnamese dish invented in Hanoi. It’s like nothing I’ve ever eaten before – a soup of mild fish sauce that has grilled fatty pork dunked into it which is to follow with vermicelli and fresh salad. Crazy!
